Scott Warner, co-founder and President of Hope thru Hooves has a lifetime of horse experience, including being a farrier, trainer and operating a successful horse boarding facility. Scott has a passion for helping kids and horses. He gives horseback riding lessons, volunteers to read in classroom, presents at career day, and helps coach athletic teams in his community. As one of the primary facilitators, Scott’s cowboy way, manners, strong presence and respect for all, has a positive impact on the at-risk youth who walk through the gates of Hope thru Hooves. As a former Colorado State Trooper, Scott understands trauma, PTSD and crisis intervention. This experience gives Scott a inside understanding of the struggles that first responders, law enforcement and veterans may face, especially when trying to re-integrate into the civilian world. Scott is a leader in the team building Hope thru Hooves into a community partner and resource that positively affects our community and those who reside here.
